Bila Kofia was built slowly, by hand, the way coastal houses on the Swahili coast have been built for centuries. Doors stay open. Cross breezes do the work of air-conditioning most of the year (it's there too, in every bedroom, for the nights you want it).

The house arranges itself around a central courtyard and a long, shaded verandah. The wide doors in the living room creates a social space between the pool area and the livingroom.

Designed for families and groups of friends, the villa accommodates up to 12 guests and features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a private swimming pool, and a rooftop terrace with stunning sunset views.
